Chiropractor Colorado Springs CO

Welcome to Springs Chiropractic Health.  I am a Colorado Springs Chiropractor. I do my best in finding the source of your pain and discomfort. Pain is a symptom, not a lifestyle!   Most patients want to understand why they are in pain. This is an important question as it can relate to certain activities the patient is performing. The patient's posture, repetitive motions or previous motor vehicle and sports injuries all can be related.

Pain in most cases is the last symptom to manifest. In fact, pain is a good thing. It’s the check engine light that comes on in your car; warning you that something needs to be checked out before it becomes worse.

Common Symptoms We Help

Working with Springs Chiropractic Health
will make a difference in your health.

what conditions do i treat?

As a Colorado Springs Chiropractor I treat a variety of conditions; including neck & low back pain, hip and shoulder discomforts, motor vehicle injuries, scoliosis, and vertigo. Patients who have neck pain are examined by looking at the posture of the neck as well as the skeletal structure. In our day in age most neck pains come from an anterior or forward positioning due to poor working conditions and texting on phones. Lower back pains can come from another source other than the back, such as the sacrum or pelvis and muscles attached to these areas.

I’ve been successful at treating hip and shoulder pains. Repetitive motion disorders and old injuries that were never healed is what commonly causes hip and shoulder pains. Motor vehicle whiplash cases are covered 90% of the time and all of them should be seen by a chiropractor. Springs Chiropractic Health in Colorado Springs will handle all the insurance for these types of injuries.  Scoliosis can be a difficult case to treat. I enjoy treating scoliosis because it requires the correct adjustments and methods to correct the spine to its normal positioning. Vertigo is not extremely common, however when it occurs to patients it can be quite annoying. When I treat vertigo, I always keep the patient in an up right position. These types of patients never leave with room spinning.

HOW AM I DIFFERENT FROM OTHER CHIROPRACTORS?

In addition to my doctorate in chiropractic, I have a masters in sports rehabilitation.  As a chiropractor in Colorado Springs, I adjust all my patients and then perform some light soft tissue therapy. My soft tissue therapy includes cupping, Graston, and myofascial release.  I am also certified in dry needling.  I am often asked what is the difference between dry needling and acupuncture?  Both techniques use similar type of needles. Acupuncture inserts the needle just below the subcutaneous level of the skin and slightly deeper and focuses on the meridians and energy of the body to promote healing. Dry needling is focused on getting to and releasing the muscle. Therefore, with dry needling, the needle goes to the belly of the muscle to release the tension of that muscle. Dry needling is focused on releasing trigger points deep within the muscle. As a chiropractor and rehab specialist, my objective is to provide pain relief as fast as possible and keep it that way.
